FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why are dates for Workshops & the Tournament still TBC?
Being a pilot, we are not 100% sure how many schools would like to participate & from where. In Term 2 Week 1, we will review entries and determine if the Program will be rolled out as one big Auckland program or split into zones. E.g North, East, South, West.
What is the purpose of the Flag Football Coaching Workshop & who should attend ?
Our goal is to equip Teachers with the skills, knowledge & resources to confidently teach Flag Football at your school. The workshop program is designed to introduce you to all aspects of Flag Football, in a safe supportive environment - lead by experts. You will receive understanding of the basic Flag Fundamentals and the best way to teach these skills to your students.
Any Teachers or volunteers who will be delivering Flag Football in your school, are welcome to attend.
Why a Tournament ?
Students have told us they are most likely to participate in school sports, when there is a competition/event to look forward to.
